Depth of Aubergine – Abstract Artwork

Painted for a private client, this bespoke piece of abstract artwork shows depth and movement.  Using dusty Aubergine colours with silver greys, we created this piece for their dining room.  This hand painted abstract canvas was then framed with a Shadow frame.

Noah's Ark

 

 I had a lovely time painting this (1mx1m) canvas.  I think it's a brilliant ideas to have 'Noah's Ark' for a children's room.  It means the child can get to know their animals, colours and it helps to develop their imagination.  It took me 3 days to paint and I loved ever moment!!
The panda's were added in as it's the child's favourite animal.

Calming Magnolia Canvas

I painted this piece of artwork for a hallway to create calm and beauty. I kept neutral tones to suit the home, using an off white background lifted the white magnolia flowers. I chose to paint the magnolia flower as it one of my favourite trees, full of beauty and grace. The flowering of the magnolia tree is something I look forward to ever year.

 The background of the canvas was painted to match the wall colour (The Little Greene Paint Company – Limestone) and then I hand painted all the quotes in black with Dr Seuss at the base.

This was painted for ‘Ensoul – Interior Architecture’, in Spencer Park, Wandsworth.

Finally having a home means you can be creative and use all those ideas that you’ve been saving. I used dusty blues and mochas to create warmth in the living room. I hand painted this canvas to pull this scheme together.

Family Guy - Family Portrait

I had a client who loves 'Family Guy' and came up with an ingenious idea for a Christmas present. He wanted to have a family portrait of his family drawn in the same style as 'Family Guy', including nosey neighbour and every little detail ...that made it his family.
I hand drew the design from many photo's, then scanned it into the computer. I coloured it all using Photoshop and then got a company to print in onto canvas.
I was so pleased with the result and so was the client!

 

Oriental Abstract Painting

I love this style of art, simple yet very powerful.  'Inspired by oriental artwork which used inks and strong brush strokes' I ended up painting four of these for a living area and I loved how the use of fabrics and accessories worked with this artwork.  I added a clear varnish to the finished piece, which enhanced the depth of the black and then the client had each piece framed in a antique silver frame. Zebra Canvas fits with the Interior Design

This Hand Painted Zebra Canvas by Carren Lu, was painted to fit in with the Interiors.
The reds and blues have a very British feel with an African twist.  I painted a red background onto the canvas to set off against the Royal Blue wall.  The canvas creates a big impact in the room, which I love!

I hand painted two Zebras on a (150 x 90cm) canvas using different shades of blues with a red background.  This Zebra canvas was painted to make an impact for a stunning dining room.  I used the colours of the Union Jack flag.
