Threadless Totoro Dreamworld

Inspired by a friend who has a love of everything Japanese. I decided to paint one of the worlds most loved Japanese cartoon characters 'Totoro', paired with one of the worlds most well known Japanese works of art 'The Great Wave off Kanagawa'. I wanted to create a dream like painting, combining the two pieces and creating one full of magic and adventure. To create this, I painted the background, waves and Totoro all separately. I then cut out (by hand) each design and then glued the piece together.. so old school!!

‘Artistic Touch’ is featured in the ‘London Evening Standard’

The Winnie-The-Pooh bedroom and en-suite I painted over Christmas is featured in the ‘London Evening standard! The article is about Viki and Mike Lander who bought a boring 70′s house and their journey into turning it into an incredible home. Viki approached me to help turn her idea into reality, to turn her child’s room into something spectacular!

Here is the finished product. The Winnie-the-pooh theme runs right across all three walls, framed around a tent bed. Also I hand painted cabinet doors for the en-suite bathroom, which were then varnished to protect against any moisture. To finish off I scattered little bumblebees everywhere! The client was so pleased.

Frozen Wall Mural

The frozen room is complete!! The background was painted by Artistic Touch, a snowy scene finished off with touches of glitter on the snow. Then Elsa and Olaf wall stickers were added. Matching the paint colours to the Frozen wall stickers, they match perfectly! I am so pleased with how this mural came out, it proves wall murals and wall stickers can work together!

Frozen Room

The beginnings of a 'Frozen' room!! I hand painted a snowy background with touches of glitter on the trees. Elsa and Olaf (wall stickers) will be placed on the background to complete the room. Magical!!
